Kristin Martin

Hearing Dylan yelling out his window moments before he went to God, was something that was tragic and so hard.  I truly know what the meaning of "life can change in a second" means.  I heard his voice, then a second later he was w/ the angels.  I feel honored to have been a part of his life.

Kristin is a sister to me and I will help her on this journey as long as I live.

Her kids are so special to me and we will keep Dylan's spririt alive with everything we do.

My memories are so great with Dylan.  He and Sydney went to each other's softball games the week he died. They will always have that.  Sydney looked up to him and adored him.  She will play sports and have a part of him with her.  She will wear his helmet with honor and keep his love for sports alive.

We will never understand, but will have faith that he is shining bright.

We love you D. We love you.

How do you say goodbye to a little 7 year old boy...who is so loved and is so loveable? I trust I will see him again...until then, it is tough. Dylan and I had lots of fun shooting hoops in Steve's backyard, playing baseball at the park, and playing "duckhunter" at Kristin's Halloween party. In pitching to Dylan while he was learning to bat....I can honestly say he never saw a pitch he didn't like...haha. If it was low or high, inside or outside...it didn't matter. He wanted to swing at it! Take care little buddy.  "Uncle Ed"

My son played foursquare with Dylan at recess, and misses him now. These beautiful photos show that he was a happy, sweet boy, and well-loved by his family. Our Burbank & Roosevelt families sorely feel the loss of his bright spirit.
